Haudio S10C in Video: A Floating Screen That Changes Perspective

Haudio S10C in Video: A Floating Screen That Changes Perspective

on

A product photo shows the screen. A video shows how that screen changes the dashboard. In this Haudio S10C demonstration, the display starts in landscape orientation, turns upright and is later lifted away from its mounting position before being put back. Those moments make the physical design easier to understand than a specification list alone.

For anyone considering a 10.1 inch floating screen car stereo, the most useful part of this clip begins when the presenter rotates the display. Here is what to look for in the approximately 76-second video, and how to use those observations when considering the S10C for your own vehicle.

Provided S10C demonstration · approximately 1 minute 16 seconds

Start with the wide dashboard view

At approximately 0:09, the camera is inside a pickup and the display is horizontal. A map and media information are visible side by side. Later shots show app menus and the receiver's interface, giving you a sense of how much of the center dashboard the screen occupies.

Look at the relationship between the display and the cabin, rather than just the icons. The steering wheel, column shifter and climate controls provide useful visual context. Your seating position and dashboard arrangement may be different, but this view helps you form a more concrete question: where would a screen of this shape sit in your car?

The video also provides a useful starting point for comparing the landscape and portrait views of the same installation. You can pause each view and consider which arrangement would feel more natural from your usual driving position.

Watch the landscape-to-portrait change

Around 0:24, the presenter physically turns the screen. By about 0:27, it is upright and displaying a vertically arranged interface. This is the defining moment of the demonstration: the display's shape on the dashboard changes while the receiver remains in its installed position.

Haudio lists the S10C as a floating screen car stereo with a rotatable touchscreen. The clip demonstrates a landscape-to-portrait movement; it does not show every possible angle or establish that every application rearranges itself in the same way.

Think of orientation as a setup choice. A wider arrangement may suit the way you prefer information spread across the display. An upright arrangement may be worth trying if you prefer a taller layout. The useful comparison is with the functions you actually plan to use, while the vehicle is parked.

Physical rotation and software layout are separate things to verify. Ask to see your intended phone interface or supported application in both positions before assuming it will behave like the receiver interface shown here.

Notice what happens when the screen comes away

At approximately 0:45, the presenter is holding the darkened screen away from the dashboard. The following shots reveal its rear mounting area and the part of the installation that remains in the dash. Around 0:54, the display is brought back into position.

This sequence helps explain the construction of the unit shown in the video. It should not be read as a demonstration of a battery-powered tablet or a screen that works independently after removal. Nor does it establish an anti-theft guarantee or a recommended routine for daily removal.

If this detail matters to your purchase, use the Haudio S10C manual and ask Haudio to confirm the approved handling procedure for the current unit. The video is a visual introduction, not a substitute for release, power-off or refitting instructions.

For a broader explanation of the installation type, remember that screen handling and the type of receiver installation are different questions. A display that comes away from its mount does not automatically make the receiver a portable add-on system.

Turn the video into three useful questions

Before choosing an orientation, use the clip to prepare a short demonstration request:

  1. Show my intended interface in both positions. Check text size, control placement and whether the particular screen layout adapts as expected.
  2. Show the full movement in my dashboard space. Check the path of the display during adjustment, as well as where it rests. Do this while parked and follow the product instructions.
  3. Explain how the display is secured. Ask about the correct handling method and how to confirm that the screen is properly seated afterward.

The second question is especially useful because a still photo only shows one position. Check access to nearby vents and controls in both positions, and ask the installer to assess the available clearance.

Keep the demonstration in perspective

The pickup in this clip is one installation example. Its appearance does not confirm compatibility with every truck, model year or factory audio package. Likewise, the startup graphics near the end are not a measured boot-time test.

For a vehicle-specific parts plan, ask your installer to confirm the mounting hardware, connections and factory features you want to retain. If you are still comparing formats, browse the car stereo range with your dashboard measurements and required functions in mind.

Is this screen design a good match for you?

The S10C is worth a closer look if choosing between a wide and upright display is something you would actually use. The video gives you a concrete view of that adjustment and the screen-handling sequence, making it easier to ask focused questions before buying.

Use your preferred apps, normal seating position and actual dashboard as the final reference. Then contact Haudio with your vehicle details and questions about the display mechanism. A confirmed setup will tell you more about the value of a rotating screen than its size alone.
